	"description": "On April 13th workers at Portillo&#x27;s food service voted to form a union. Workers were tired of low wages, inaccessible healthcare, and poor working conditions. Portillo&#x27;s management immediately began intimidating, harassing, and retaliating against the workers (union busting). Portillo&#x27;s conduct has placed them being under investigation violating several federal laws. Despite the attacks, the workers prevailed! Even prior to the victory, Portillo&#x27;s management made it clear it has no intentions to ever successfully bargain a contract with the workers. They have cited the company&#x27;s deep pockets and expensive lawyers to stall, and ultimately not reach an agreement. The workers have spoken. They deserve a contract. Demand that Portillo&#x27;s bargain in good faith with the workers and successfully reach an agreement as soon as possible! The workers want and need a contract NOW!",
