	"description": "We&#x27;re standing up for the Registered Nurses at Akron General Hospital who are fighting for the safety and care of their patients, including not having enough staff.   What&#x27;s really shocking is how the hospital&#x27;s big bosses, like Dr. Brian Harte, the President of Akron General, are making a ton of money while the nurses struggle. In 2022, Dr. Harte&#x27;s pay went up by more than 15%, reaching $773,909. That&#x27;s over 16 times what the average family in Akron makes in a year! It seems like the hospital cares more about money than making sure patients get the best care. This shows there&#x27;s a big problem with how hospitals are run, focusing more on profits than on people.  The nurses, who are the heart of patient care, deserve better. The Ohio Nurses Association is backing them up, trying to make things better not just in Akron but all over Ohio by fighting for change through our Code Red campaign and pushing for a new law, House Bill 285, to make sure there are enough nurses to take care of patients properly. Let&#x27;s support the nurses at Akron General Hospital by signing this petition and demanding a healthcare system that cares about its caregivers and patients.",
