Central’s softball players brought these disparities into public view. Now, athletes from other girls’ sports are raising concerns about their own experiences. It&#x27;s time for LRSD leaders to act. LRSD must examine how opportunities and resources are provided across its athletic programs. District leaders need to correct current inequities and publish a Title IX compliance plan complete with a project manager, funding streams, a timeline, and measurable deliverables. It&#x27;s 2026, and out girls should not have to keep proving to educators that they deserve equal treatment. Equal means equal.",
