This means we have more power than ever to compel UVM Health to be a real leader on the issues that matter to Vermonters: quality patient care, healthcare for all, immigrant rights, and protections for worker organizing. That’s why we’ve created a set of “common good” contract proposals to advance these issues at the bargaining table. Safe staffing saves lives: UVMMC must commit to enforcement mechanisms for safe staffing grids so our work conditions are safe and our community receives quality patient care. Livable wages for all: UVMMC must provide wages that allow employees to live in our community with dignity.
