"description": "The Vermont Transit Corridor (VTC) is the busiest bus corridor in Los Angeles County. It connects to several rail lines (B, C, D and E) and over 20 east-west bus routes and major activity centers, such as medical centers, USC, Expo Park museums, and sports venues. Metro is planning a 12.4-mile Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line along Vermont Avenue to 120th Street, ending just north of Gardena and the Harbor Gateway Transit Center and cutting out the South Bay. Metro's 2022 Vermont Transit Corridor South Bay Study looked at extending the VTC by ten miles from 120th Street to the Metro J Line PCH station. This extension would serve key activity and employment centers, including Kaiser Permanente South Bay, Harbor UCLA Medical Center, and Harbor Community College. Sign on to this campaign to ask decision-makers to include the VTC South in the full scope of the VTC project.",
