At that rate it will take us 4 decades to meet the obligations for housing we are supposed to meet in less than a decade. For decades, our city has historically underbuilt homes, leading to skyrocketing rents and displacement. To reverse this trend, we need to demand that our city take the housing shortage seriously and make it easier to build the homes that we need for our city to get back to being the thriving, vibrant, inclusive city we all love.
