	"description": "We call on Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond and the California Department of Education to recognize that now, more than ever, teachers need time to teach. We ask the CDE to work with classroom educators, district superintendents, and local and county administrators to develop a reporting process that eliminates the unnecessary accounting processes separate from existing student information, learning management systems, and normal teacher workflows. Teachers want to focus on building relationships with students, designing and engaging in rich academic experiences, and providing differentiated support to students in the middle of a pandemic.",
