Quite simply, no one is able to raise children in safe and healthy communities when there is no policy response to school shootings and mass shootings and church shootings, some explicitly targeting communities of color. The pro-life movement – including members of Congress and movement leaders – consistently fail to show up for conversations on gun violence and it’s children who are paying the price. Children are literally being gunned down in their schools and begging for adults to act for their lives, and those who most loudly proclaim themselves to be pro-life are nowhere. Tell Congress gun violence is a reproductive justice issue, and it&#x27;s long past time it do something about it.",
