	"description": "Deep Roots is a movement––and momentum––building spaces designed to connect and give people the tools to take effective action. This year&#x27;s Deep Roots convergence will bring forest, climate, and social justice activists together to strengthen connections, share tools, and mobilize a strong grassroots resistance to the Trump Administration&#x27;s industry backed assault on public lands, forests, climate, and communities. Workshops will include: mobilizing the public, campaign strategy, organizing, strategic narrative intervention, timber sale surveying/NEPA engagement, direct action strategies and more! We will be camping on a beautiful farm in Southern Washington surround by forests and adjacent public lands. Most people should plan to camp but we are working on a few indoor option for those who may need that. Three meals a day, plus snacks, will be provided. There will be options for folks to volunteer with food prep, dishes, and other roles to help make the camp run smoothly. We encourage people to come for the whole camp but also allow for late or early exit/arrival. This event is open to everyone. No one will be turned away for lack of funds! If you can pitch in to help meet the costs needed to put on this event, please choose one of the ticketed options below.
