	"description": "Following the fantastic 2024 conference in Nottingham the 2025 conference in Derby is seeking to break all records for the East Midlands. In a year where we&#x27;ve seen our largest increase in candidates standing across the East Midlands, and a record number of councillors (at the time of writing the second highest rise in the country) we are planning to bring you the best attended conference that the East Midlands has seen. As we close in on 4000 members this conference will be a chance to meet your fellow members, listen to and take part in interesting talks, and celebrate our successes. We&#x27;ll discuss and plan how we get our first East Midlands Green MP elected, and hear from a panel of Global Majority Greens. If their schedules allow, we may also have the chance to quiz some of our deputy and leadership candidates in the upcoming leadership election 🗳️ Watch this space! We are offering online access to the conference and will endeavour to make this as high quality and interactive as the technology allows for.
