	"description": "The most wonderful time of the year is right around the corner. That’s right, Chicago Jobs With Justice SCROOGE OF THE YEAR! This Holiday season Chicago JWJ invites you to come together to celebrate our community, and to bestow this not-so-coveted award. The award is given to a boss, politician, corporation, or some other deserving institution that has been particularly Scroogey over the past year. We&#x27;ll post updates on the nominations as they roll in! Scrooge of the Year Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Voting tickets are $1 each in advance and $1 each on the day of. Here&#x27;s how it works: 1) Buy your entry ticket and fill in your nomination of Scrooge of the Year on the registration form. 2) Your Chicago JWJ fam will tally the nominations and the TOP 3 will make it to the finals for voting on December 12 at Output Lounge. 3) To vote on which Scrooge wins, purchase voting tickets for $1 a piece. You can purchase voting tickets in advance and on site on December 12. 4) The Scrooge of the Year will be awarded at 7 pm at Output Lounge and their award plate will be added to the Scrooge of the Year Trophy. Make sure to register for the Scrooge of the Year ASAP! We have a limited capacity and we plan to pack the place! The Chicago JWJ staff will be dressing festively and you&#x27;re welcome to as well, or not. Your level of holiday cheer is completely up to you! Either way, register today and get ready to eat, drink, and merrily award the 2024 Scrooge of the Year!",
