We are honoured to welcome Uncle Tais Muchan, a Kabi Kabi Elder with the Undumbi Culture Group, who will share his family’s story of child removal, alongside Professor David Hollinsworth, who will provide broader context on the history and impacts of the Stolen Children, and Karen Malcolm, who will speak to the science of intergenerational trauma, including insights from epigenetics. All are warmly invited to be part of this important conversation. Tickets: $25 per person. Speakers Uncle Tais Muchan Uncle Tais Muchan is a respected Kabi Kabi Elder who will share his family’s lived experience of child removal, offering a deeply personal perspective on the Stolen Generations and its ongoing impact. Professor David Hollinsworth Professor David Hollinsworth is an activist and academic educator and long-time advocate in Aboriginal Studies, with a particular focus on the history and intergenerational impacts of the Stolen Generations. He has worked extensively in education, research, and anti-racism. Karen Malcolm Karen Malcolm is an immunologist and medical researcher with an understanding of the role of epigenetics in intergenerational trauma. She brings a scientific perspective to understanding how the impacts of child removal can be carried across generations.",
