	"description": "The South West Executive Committee are delighted to welcome you to our 2026 Conference and AGM which this year is being held on the English Riviera. We would love for you to join us in person at the Livermead House Hotel in Torquay for either or both days in our two-day conference on Friday 30th October and Saturday 31st October 2026. The event will be hybrid, so if you can&#x27;t make it in person you can join us online. The agenda for the weekend is as follows ([H] denotes Hybrid session for online participants): 📅 Friday 30th October 1pm - Registration Opens 2pm - Welcome &amp; Housekeeping [H] 2:15pm - Training Session with Election Experts [H] 3pm - Panel Discussion (with special guests TBC) [H] 4pm - Training Session with Election Experts [H] / Networking / Walking Tour 5pm - Break 7pm - Evening entertainment (featuring a local band) 📅 Saturday 31st October 9am - Registration Opens / SWGP Officer Reports Q&amp;A / Networking 10am - Welcome &amp; Housekeeping [H] 10:15am - SWGP Strategy Update [H] 10:30am - Policy Carousel [H] 12:00pm - Key Note Speaker (TBC) [H] 1:30pm - Buffet Vegan Lunch 2:15pm - Presentation from Torbay Green Party [H] 2:35pm - Fundraising Training [H] 3:00pm - AGM [H] 4:30pm - Close 🎟️ Tickets Alongside our standard tickets we have created two alternative ticket options to make the event as accessible to others as possible. All three ticket tiers provide the same access to the conference. Saver Tickets - we have a number of tickets available at our Saver rate. These are intended for those on a low income. Giving Tickets - we have also included a Giving rate. If you can afford to give a little more, please consider purchasing a ticket at this rate, which helps us to be able to offer tickets at the Saver rate. Tickets are available for purchase by Green Party members in the South West only and cover entry to the conference only. Refreshments will be provided on both days. The Weekend and Saturday tickets include a buffet lunch on the Saturday. 🏨 In Person Weekend (FRI &amp; SAT)Friday ONLYSaturday ONLYSaver£15£7.50£10Standard£35£22.50£30Giving£50£30£40 💻 Online Tickets - £5 (whole weekend) Purchasing an online ticket will give you access to both the Friday and Saturday hybrid sessions. 🛏️ Accommodation We have secured a special room rate at the Livermead House Hotel of £80 per night. To access this rate, you will need to phone the hotel to make your booking and confirm you are with the South West Green Party. More details of the rooms available can be found on their website: https://livermead.com/stay 📍 Travelling to Torquay 🚂 Torquay has a railway station, just 557m from the conference venue. If you&#x27;re unable to get a direct train, change at Exeter St Davids or Newton Abbot for trains to Torquay. 🚌 Torquay is on the National Express bus route. 🚗 We have included an option on the tickets form for you to indicate if you would be interested in a car-share.
