Here’s what we have planned: 1:00–2:00 p.m. | Community gathering Come hang out, play games, and meet union members, workers, families, and neighbors from across Chattanooga. 2:00 p.m. | Welcome and featured speakers We’ll officially kick off the celebration with remarks from local labor and community leaders. Following the speakers | Optional labor history teach-in A local labor historian will share a brief history of Chattanooga’s unions and the Chattanooga Area Labor Council. 3:15–5:00 p.m. | Labor Day celebration Enjoy live music, food, and more speakers as we celebrate the power, history, and future of working people. This celebration is for all of Chattanooga, not only union members. Bring your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors. If you’re a union member, wear your union colors!
