How to build a union at my workplace, part I

	<thumbnail_url>https://actionnetwork.org//images/generic_facebook.jpg</thumbnail_url>

Work suck? Ever thought about forming a union at your job? What do your coworkers think? How does someone even go about starting a union? This Labor Day, we’re honoring the workers who organized before us by helping a new generation of workers learn how to organize today. Join the Chattanooga Area Labor Council for a free community training led by experienced organizers and workers from across the Chattanooga area. We’ll share lessons from organizing our workplaces and discuss how workers can begin building a union together. This is the first of a two-part training series on the committee-building model of union organizing. Part two will be held on Labor Day, Monday, September 7. Breakfast will be provided. Bring a coworker!
