Congratulations Taylor Bennett

	<thumbnail_url>https://can2-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/forms/photos/000/153/832/normal/Congra_(1).png</thumbnail_url>

Last Night Democrat, and Working Families endorsed candidate, Taylor Bennett won a resounding victory in the Special Election run-off for House District 80, in Brookhaven and Sandy Springs. Taylor won by being a bold progressive, speaking out for working families, and tirelessly walking the streets and knocking on doors. Organized labor was proud to stand with him as we came together to mail, call, and knock on every union household in the district, a number that was equal to the margin of victory last night. Thank you to all of our labor volunteer canvassers and phone bankers. Thank you to all of our affiliate locals who contributed to this effort. It was a worthy cause and investment in the future of our state. Please take a moment to congratulate Taylor Bennett on his victory, by filling out the form to the right. We will deliver the congratulations message to him, with your name and local union attached. Now as Taylor said in his victory speech (click on video below), today we celebrate, tomorrow we get to work. We look forward to working with Taylor and any other State Legislator willing to stand for working families next legislative session. In Solidarity, Charlie Flemming President, Georgia AFL-CIO
