CalPortland: Negotiate a fair contract NOW!

Teamsters Local 313-represented drivers at CalPortland in DuPont, WA have been on ULP strike since April 1, fighting for a contract with fair wages. Their previous contract expired more than a year ago, but management refuses to agree to terms that bring compensation closer to standards already in place for Drivers just an hour away in King County. CalPortland has only met once to bargain since the strike began. Even worse, they're using scab labor rather than negotiate with drivers on a fair contract. That's unacceptable. Management needs to come back to the table and bargain in good faith for a contract with wages that respect drivers' work. Send an email to Todd Owen, CalPortland Lead Negotiator, and tell him you support the workers' fight for a fair contract!
