But right now, Paramount is reportedly trying to cut a settlement deal with state Attorneys General to drop their lawsuit. These deals rarely work out for ordinary Americans. The concessions that are reached are often unenforceable band-aids that fail to protect workers and consumers. Taking this case to trial is the only way to stop this media takeover.
