Stephen Miller is vowing to use the full weight of the government to “disrupt, dismantle, and destroy” left-leaning organizations – which he’s blaming for the shooting without a shred of evidence. Attorney General Pam Bondi is warning the government will “absolutely target you” if they suspect you of “hate speech” – which Trump is defining as anyone who treats him “unfairly”. And Trump himself is demanding the people who peacefully protested him in a D.C. restaurant be “put in jail”. Here’s the good news: we have checks and balances for a reason – and Trump can’t make the worst of his anti-free speech dreams a reality without Congress’s help.
