Trump and his allies in Congress have refused to agree to a funding bill that protects working people. Congress must ensure the funding bill protects our healthcare. Because of the budget bill passed by Congress this summer, over 4 million families could lose their healthcare coverage, and 22 million working people will see massive increases in healthcare premiums at the end of the year. This funding bill must also include policies to prevent the Trump administration from unlawfully slashing programs that Congress already passed legislation to fund. That includes programs like cancer research, Veterans Affairs hospitals, and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).
