Tell Congress: Vote No on Anti-Worker Budget

Republicans in Congress have released their budget plan, and it’s worse than we thought. In addition to catastrophic cuts to healthcare for millions, they want to pass permanent tax breaks for corporations that send jobs overseas. The bill would make changes to a number of tax policies that would incentivize companies to dodge taxes and move production overseas, often to places where wages are much lower and workers have fewer labor protections than they have in the United States. They want to increase their profits by exploiting workers in other countries instead of providing decent jobs in the United States–and this bill will give them a tax break for doing so. The bottom line is that this plan would disproportionately benefit the wealthiest people in the country and corporations by transferring trillions from programs that benefit the American people into tax cuts for the super-rich and more avenues for corporations to exploit workers. Send a message to Congress now to demand they vote no on this budget plan.
