Low-income tenants there have been living in terrible conditions. They called Code Enforcement over a year ago, which finally led to a report. But despite a deadline back in June, the landlord still hasn't made repairs, and Code Enforcement hasn't issued any fines or... enforcement. Tenants are now organizing to pack the Code Enforcement Appeals Board meeting to make their voices heard: Thursday, Nov 13, 6:30 PM San José City Hall, Council Chambers General public comment at the end of the agenda (as an item was not agendized) They are asking for community support, especially from DSA, to show solidarity, fill the room, and finally be heard.
