Redlands LGBTQ clubs are under attack and we need your help to defend them. When am I needed to support? At the next RUSD school board meeting, April 25th, 6pm Can I have some more background information? On April 12th, the IG account linlandempirelibertycoalition led by Jared Gustafson began to call for the dismissal of the advisor for the LGBTQ+ club at Redlands East Valley High School   The price club is now under attack by the same right-wing group that aimed to ban masks, LGBTQ+ books, and invited extremist groups to our school board and city council meetings   This disruptive group believes that by supporting LGBTQ+ students it’s “grooming.” They are now attempting to confuse the very real  history of sexual abuse within the district with the support and allyship of our LGBTQ+ students. Protecting teen-led spaces like campus clubs is essential to preventing future incidents of abuse. The Pride club is also legally protected by the Ed code in California.
