Lift Louisiana is introducing our Deep Canvassing Volunteer Days, where we’ll be hitting the streets to have meaningful, values-based conversations with people about abortion. This is your chance to make a real impact, helping to shift perceptions and to create a more understanding community.   We'll train you to be advocates for abortion access as well as how to deep canvass voters to help dismantle abortion stigma and connect through storytelling. Abortion Equity Initiative: Deep Canvassing Volunteer Training Thursday, August 14 from 6:00 – 8:00pm In this 2-hour training you'll learn: About Lift Louisiana and the context of this work Abortion 101 including Common Stigmas & the Power of Values The state of Abortion Rights & Public Opinion in Louisiana Deep Canvassing 101 Sign up for this virtual training session. Virtual trainings are the first of a 2-part training. After this training, volunteers will complete an additional in-person training prior to canvassing.
