Paul fought hard to win this ward back in 2023, but following family bereavements and health troubles he has made the difficult decision to step down from Knowsley Council. We all wish him the very best and thank him for everything he has done for the local area. Knowsley Green Party has selected the dynamic duo Alan Mackenzie and Ste Murray as our candidates for Roby ward — and we need your help to get them elected! We’re kicking off the short campaign with a leaflet drop to let residents know about Paul’s resignation and to formally introduce Alan and Ste as our candidates. 🕚 11:00am–12:00pm One of our campaign team will be at the Bowring Park Pub entrance with a boot full of bundled leaflet rounds and maps to hand out. You can take a small round to do yourself, or join one of our groups heading out to deliver a bigger round. 🚪 Call to arms! We’re aiming to deliver the entire ward in one day, so our target is 30 volunteers signed up to help make it happen. If you can spare an hour or two, please come along and help us hit that goal! 🍻 2:00pm Afterwards we’ll be having a well-deserved drink back at The Bowring, where we’ll also be joined by former Green Party Leader Baroness Natalie Bennett.
