Our songs are designed for audience participation and we seek to collaborate with others in the spirit of activism. Check out No Planet B 7:45-8:15: Film: Becoming Nature Positive Becoming Nature Positive is a 30-minute documentary created by the Nature Positive Initiative and Open Planet Studios. It translates complex conservation goals, like the UN's global pledge to halt and reverese biodiversity loss by 2030, into clear, actionable language for leaders, businesses and everyday citizens. 8:20-9:00: Panel Discussion Becoming nature postive will require the participation of many sectors. Panelists will react to the film and discuss how their fields might align with a nature positive agenda. Panelists include: Mike Weinstein, PhD, is the founding Director of Sustainability at Southern New Hampshire University, where he leads enterprise sustainability strategy, ESG reporting, and climate action initiatives. He specializes in ESG strategy, carbon accounting, net zero planning, and sustainable IT & AI, while teaching courses such as Global Climate Change and Environmental Issues. Under his leadership, SNHU achieved a STARS Silver rating from AASHE, reflecting advancements in sustainability governance, reporting, and engagement. He holds a Master’s in Data Analytics, a Master’s in Interdisciplinary Environmental Studies, and a PhD in Sustainability and Environmental Studies Ryan Smith is an agroforestry project manager at the University of New Hampshire. He earned a Master of Forestry degree from the Yale School of the Environment and has worked with family forest owners and farmers practicing agroforestry across the northeastern United States, Latin America, and Sri Lanka. In his role, Ryan coordinates site establishment, research activities, and data collection at ADAPT’s research and demonstration sites. On his family’s farm in Pennsylvania, he grows chestnuts, cider apples, and other fruit and nut crops in alley-cropping systems integrated with hay production.
