We are only beginning to understand the potential impacts of large-scale data centers on our communities. They can require massive amounts of electricity, increasing demand on the grid and resulting in further electric rate hikes. Depending on the cooling system, they can also consume significant amounts of water or generate a constant low-frequency hum from cooling equipment. Holmdel residents deserve to know what is being proposed - and how it could affect our community. Come hear: • How this application came about • What we know about its potential environmental impacts • What questions residents should be asking • How the Planning Board review process works • What opportunities the public has to participate Be informed. Be engaged. Be heard. Please register to attend. We will provide the exact location by email one day before the meeting. If you provide your cell number, we will also text you the meeting information. Please share this announcement with your Holmdel neighbors.
