So we will converge on her keynote address i Birmingham, MI. And we will shut it down. Granholm promised to use her power to protect us. Instead she has been simping for fossil fuel CEOs. Granholm recently endorsed the 2,000,000,000 cubic-foot-per-day fracked gas Mountain Valley Pipeline. She said it will “play an important role” in our transition to a clean energy economy. This is unacceptable. This is a death sentence for our whole generation. The Mountain Valley Pipeline would have the same climate impact as adding 19,000,000 cars to the road. We must fight this with all we've got. And we will. It gets worse. Secretary Granholm also signed off on the Alaska LNG Project. This $39,000,000,000 monstrosity would cut across vast swaths of our nation's most pristine lands. It's climate impact would be **larger** than Willow's. This would drive 50,000,000 metric tons of pollution annually. Secretary Granholm is not a climate leader. She is a coward who has sold us out to fossil fuel executives.
