Warners will be Crossroads and Connections March book study opportunity.  If you are concerned about the streams and rivers that make up the watershed where you call home, this book is a great case study.   Bill Mckibben, author of The End of Nature writes  “It’s a fascinating and moving tale, and a fascinating and powerful book.  Reconciliation ecology is a discipline we badly need, and its motto could well be ‘Unhealthy water reveals unhealthy relationships’”. Our four sessions will be wonderfully enhanced by Emily Landis, Director of Education and Environmental Strategy with the Steinman Foundation.  Emily is working with a large stream restoration project on the Little Conestoga in Lancaster, Pa. called the Blue Green Connector.   Sessions: Tuesday evenings in March ( 3, 10,  24, 31) 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm Book study leaders:  Emily Landis has been working with the Steinman Foundation after having been the Director of the Lancaster Science Factory for ten years.   Dave Bushnell is a climate activist from Lancaster, Pa. and a  retired UCC pastor who has helped to organize the Hamilton Park neighborhood of Lancaster Township as a Climate Action Neighborhood.  He is on the planning team of Crossroads and Connections.
