Buffalo NYS Energy Plan Public Hearing with RHN

	<thumbnail_url>https://can2-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/events/photos/002/240/524/normal/NYS_Energy_Plan.jpg</thumbnail_url>

New York must lead the transition to a clean energy economy. We're calling on the New York State Energy Planning Board to guide our state toward a reliable energy system that protects the environment, prioritizes energy efficiency, saves us money, and reduces our reliance on fossil fuels. The New York State Energy Planning Board released the Draft State Energy Plan for public comment. New Yorkers are encouraged to provide oral comments at public hearings across the state in August and September and to submit written comments. Your testimony and comments will be used to develop the Final State Energy Plan. You don't need to be an expert to make your voice heard! Renewable Heat Now and our allies will be providing resources to help you prepare your testimony and public comments. We will add the exact location of the hearing as soon as it is made available. Doors will open at 4pm. Attendees who would like to speak at the hearing may register in advance or at check-in. Attendees will be given two minutes to address the State Energy Planning Board members. If you can't make it to this hearing, check our event campaign for more opportunities to testify!
