Following a resolution passed by the Central Leadership Council in December, we will consider these candidates through a forum and a vote of relevant branches. This forum is a unique opportunity to hear from two NYC-DSA members in office who are looking to formally join our project in the City Council. In addition to hearing from the Council Members themselves, members will have a chance to ask both prospective committee members questions and debate the question with other members. We know there have been a lot of endorsement forums recently as our electoral project grows. Please note that these candidates are not seeking our endorsement! Instead, they are seeking to join with us in our fight to bring mass politics and the affordability agenda to City Hall.
