Didcot Green Action Day: Surveying & Leafletting

Please join South & Vale Greens for a mass action afternoon on Saturday 8 October. In 2019, our local candidate Adam Grindey narrowly missed a District Council seat in the Didcot West ward by 90 votes. Next May, we know we can win this seat - but we need your support! We are working hard to let residents know about the work that Greens are doing in the local area, and on 8 October we will be asking residents for their views, and delivering newsletters. Meet: The Kneller Room, All Saints Youth & Community Hall, Didcot, OX11 7ER When: 2pm, Saturday 8 October 2022 We will be surveying local residents, and delivering our local Green News. This is a perfect opportunity either to join us for the first time, or to take a step up from delivering leaflets to knocking on doors and interacting with local residents. Surveying is really rewarding, and an easy introduction to speaking on the doorstep; it involves just a very short introductory script before leaving the resident with a survey, and returning to collect it from the letterbox later. Full training and directions will be provided, and all new volunteers will be paired up with someone more experienced. We will meet at 2pm for a briefing and cake, then meet up again from 4.30 for a social drink at the Prince of Wales, next to the train station. All Saints' Hall is a short walk from Didcot train station, and close to several local bus routes. There is secure bike parking and a small car park.
