Join us on November 23 for a divestment forum to talk about the steps needed to divest Arlington from war. This summer, World BEYOND War led a successful campaign to divest the city of Charlottesville from weapons. Now the county of Arlington is turning to Charlottesville for advice on how to divest, and it's up to us to We're using our grassroots people power to cut ties to the war economy where investors make a killing on killing. Our featured panelists include: Paki Wieland: Paki is an activist with CODEPINK: Women for Peace. She was part of the Free Gaza Movement campaign and the Witness Against Torture campaign. She participated in the spring 2011 delegation to Afghanistan to join the Afghan Youth Peace Volunteers. She has extensive experience campaigning for war divestment.
