Join us for a DSA-LA’s biggest meeting of the year: our annual Convention. It’s set for Saturday, April 20. We are lucky to be hosted by our coalition partner in labor, United Auto Workers Region 6. Thanks, UAW! Convention is the most important DSA-LA meeting of the year, and it typically draws 200 or more members. We vote on our priorities for the next 12 months, hear speeches from elected officials and union leaders, and then there's a big after-party. At last year’s Convention, for example, we voted to focus on renters' rights and free fare on public transit. The deadline to submit new campaign ideas for consideration by membership has passed, but Convention is a deliberative, democratic, all-member meeting!
