These proposals, often described as “earned settlement”, risk making the system more expensive and much longer. This would push families into deeper insecurity, make it harder to plan for the future, and keep people in limbo for years. We believe in a system that is fair, affordable, and timely. This is a key moment to speak up. On Friday 15th May, local election results will be fresh, and MPs are likely to be in their constituencies. It is a powerful time to be heard. Citizens UK and RAMP are inviting you to take part by either: Arranging a meeting with your MP, or Delivering a letter to their office This training is about taking local action and showing that our communities are organised, united, and ready to act.
