We need to elect (and re-elect) alders that will champion the fight to municipalize our utilities and get other pro-climate reforms passed on the city level. Join us in knocking doors for candidates around the city who have pledged to bring environmental issues to City Council! Our campaign is hosting three simultaneous canvasses in each of the three Chapter branches located inside Chicago city limits. Each of these champions have committed to democratizing our utilities and tackling our climate crises through a socialist lens. We need them in City Hall, and we can't do that without you. Each canvass will have someone from the Democratize ComEd campaign giving you helpful tips to talk about our energy grid while you are on the doors. This event is beginner friendly! If this is your first time canvassing, we will show you the ropes and/or partner you up with a more experienced canvasser. https://actionnetwork.org/events/ecosocialist-day-of-action-canvass-for-angela-clay
