Though the summer may be waning and coming to an end, LIDSA Electoral WG's campaign to elect Kevin Shea for Riverhead Town Council is far from over! Election Day is ~60 days away, and there is plenty to be done. It's all hands on deck for the fall season, an election season that could prove historic in New York. Kevin is a retired NYC firefighter, founder of several environmental and community-focused organizations, and a tireless advocate for climate justice, sustainability, and community solidarity. LIDSA is committed to campaigning for Kevin because of our mutual desire to help the working-class communities of Riverhead, whose labor supports so much of Eastern Long Island's economy.
