The Australian government is pushing its gas-led recovery, handing $billions of public dollars to their buddies in the fossil fuel industry even after we’ve been hit again and again by record breaking droughts, bushfires and floods. It’s a sick and corrupt plan that will trample the land rights of Aboriginal communities, destroy sacred sites and groundwater, and trash our environment and economy. Come, and get your friends and family along too. We know we need an economic recovery that responds to both COVID and the climate crisis. And we *definitely* know there’s a lot more important things for our government to invest $10 billion in. The only way to stop this plan is to join together in communities across the country, and champion the drive for a peoples’ recovery.
