We’ll rally nearby and hold a short march to demand Governor Murphy and his colleagues declare climate emergencies in their states and use every tool in their toolkits to end fossil fuels. In New Jersey Governor Murphy must: Halt the disastrous $10 Billion Turnpike Expansion Project through Hudson County Stop all 7 major fossil fuel expansion projects proposed or moving forward in NJ Move NJ rapidly off fossil fuels, while prioritizing environmental justice and an equitable transition to 100% clean renewable energy sources no later than 2035. This action comes just days after the March to End Fossil Fuels where tens of thousands will gather in NYC to march to call on President Biden to facilitate an an end to the era of fossil fuels.
