In Howard County we are rising on September 8, joining 1000’s of people in communities around the U.S. and the world, to  demand clean energy solutions now. We are rising in advance of the Global Climate Summit the following week, September  12-14 in San Francisco, a summit of world leaders striving to achieve Paris Climate Agreement goals. We are rising to support our children and grandchildren’s future.  To show our leaders solutions can’t wait. We know what we need - wind, solar, wave energy, clean transportation,  a clean energy economy that provides jobs and justice for all. We are a growing coalition of Howard County groups promoting solutions.  Rise4Climate is collaborating with Clarksville Common’s Drive Electric Car Week Celebration.
