Many often call for a third crossing, or a rapid transit link to the North Shore. Is that a good idea? You may have also heard about a RapidBus being extended from the North Shore to Burnaby in September, along with a future Bus Rapid Transit being in the works. We're going to discuss all that, but we'll focus on the things that can be done in a matter of months to make transit significantly better across the Second Narrows. We're going to walk around the north and south ends of the Ironworkers Bridge to witness first hand: -What measures are already in place to make buses faster; and -What more could be done! This means lots of loud cars, exhaust, and potentially rain.
