This month, we’ve got momentum on a couple of big-ticket items: Berkeley’s Missing Middle legislation is making its way to council and needs people to speak up to get a bold version over the finish line! NIMBYs are paying close attention, so engagement here will be key. SB 79 just passed a key vote in the California Senate and is moving to the Assembly. This is a BFD, and we can't wait to tell you more about it! We’ll break down what's at stake, how they fit into the bigger picture of zoning reform, and what you can do about them. The location serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as food. It's near Ashby BART and BikeLink lockers. Look for the crew with nametags, smiles, and unapologetically pro-housing vibes. New folks welcome! https://actionnetwork.org/events/june-2025-housing-happy-hour
