Will be exploring the theme of deforestation and how it impacts the natural world and local communities. We will be creating art and poetry together to tell a story of how important it is that we put the planet over profit. There will be free hot and cold drinks and snacks but you're welcome to bring your own refreshments. The event forms part of our Keep Forests, Don't Deforest! project in which we are collecting artwork and written pieces to go into a book that we will be sending to decision makers and using throughout our Planet Over Profit campaign. We are calling on the UK Government for a new UK Businesses, Humans Rights and Environment Act that will hold business accountable for not preventing environmental harms and human rights abuses that occur in their supply chains.
