This event will provide an opportunity for activists from across the state to come together, share ideas, and build connections that will help us achieve our collective vision. The event will take place on June 8th, starting at 6PM at a Minneapolis or St. Paul area park (exact location TBD), and will feature a range of activities designed to facilitate networking and collaboration. We'll begin with an informal meet-and-greet, giving attendees a chance to get to know one another and share their stories. This will be followed by short presentations on the latest developments in the fight against fossil fuel pipelines and a chance to explore strategies for building momentum and achieving our goals. This is part of a nationwide week of action to call on President Biden to take bold climate action and stop the sacrifice of frontline, Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities to the greed of Big Oil & Gas. Throughout the evening, there will be time for networking, socializing, and building connections with neighbors who share your passion for protecting our environment and communities from the harmful impacts of fossil fuels. Whether you're a seasoned organizer or new to the movement, this event is the perfect opportunity to get involved, connect with like-minded individuals, and make a difference in the fight against fossil fuel pipelines. Food and drinks will be available, and all are welcome to attend.
