This event will be held on the Purdue University campus; exact location is TBD. Several pre-arranged speakers, including keynote speakers Tithi Bhattacharya and Rodney Lynch, will discuss the importance of a living wage for Purdue workers. We will also hold an open mic after the initial speeches, during which we invite Purdue workers (including graduate workers, staff, faculty, etc.) to speak about how low wages have impacted their lives. If you are interested in speaking during the open mic, please choose that option when you RSVP. We will also be serving food and drinks. The goal of this event is to hear from workers at Purdue about how their current wages impact their lives, and how a living wage would make a difference for them.
