These forums are intended to create deeper chapter-wide political discussion and create more substantive engagement around important political questions facing the chapter and the broader socialist movement. Our first discussion topic will be: “How should socialists approach anti-Zionism, electoral accountability, and coalition strategy?” Questions around anti-Zionism, electoral accountability, chapter strategy, and political expectations have been major points of discussion. This forum aims to create a structured, thoughtful, and collaborative space for members to engage those questions together. The event will include: Opening framing & discussion guidelines Breakout group discussions Reconvening / report-backs Optional social time afterward (RSVP for location) This forum will be hybrid, with both in-person and remote participation available. However, because the discussion will involve breakout-group and rotating discussion formats, in-person attendance is strongly encouraged where possible in order to fully participate in the structure of the event. Food and refreshments will also be provided.
