This webinar, hosted by Healthcare-NOW and Progressive Democrats of America, will provide a step-by-step guide to running your own grassroots lobbying campaign to move your legislator on single-payer healthcare. If you are part of organizing a barnstorm during the February 9-13 week of action, your barnstorm will help you scale up your capacity, and provide a perfect launching pad for developing a strategic campaign. We'll address strategies and challenges if you are trying to get your Rep on board as a co-sponsor for the first time, or if your Rep is already a co-sponsor and you'd like them to take on greater leadership roles. We'll provide options if you are a small group of activists or a large coalition of unions and organizations. We'll discuss short-term campaigns to win now as well as longer, multi-year campaigns and how to decide which type of strategy is more appropriate for you. The webinar will start with a short training providing you with all the information and materials you need to run a strategic campaign.
