Prior to being elected to the Senate, Dr. Weber Pierson won a 2021 special election to the 79th Assembly District, succeeding her mother, Secretary of State Shirley Weber. On the La Mesa City Council beginning in 2018, she worked to implement the city’s Climate Action Plan and to establish a task force on homelessness.   Trent Garrett is a Policy Analyst for the Senator, covering the areas of budget, public safety, environmental quality, natural resources and technology. Mr. Garrett will discuss the Senator's plans and goals for the current legislative session and we will share our priorities Please use this form to register for the meeting.
