We will be meeting at the Fews Ford Shelter at Eno River State Park from 1:00-4:00pm on Saturday, Feb 11th. Food and beverages will be provided from the chapter funds (including but not limited to tamales and hot dogs) but we invite everyone to RSVP so that we can have better expectations for headcount. We are working on a new carpooling plan, please be on the lookout here for signups to either give or request a ride to the social. A couple of announcements/details regarding the social: COVID SAFETY. To ensure the safety of everyone, COVID vaccination is required for attending this event (children under 5 exempt). ALL AGES. Children of all ages are welcome to come (we would love for you to bring your family) but we cannot provide childcare. ACCESSIBILITY The shelter is located approximately 50m from the parking area and is pet and wheelchair accessible. There are also restroom facilities nearby. ALCOHOL PROHIBITED. Unfortunately, alcohol is prohibited in the NC State park system. Non-alcoholic hot and cold drinks will be provided, but feel free to bring a drink to share. NO ELECTRICITY.
