It's miraculous what we can accomplish when we come together, and Community Builds are working towards re-establishing this ancient way of community care and collective action. For the August Community Build, we will be hosted by Milah Banks, whose desire is to: "share this beautiful land as a community resource; to preserve and responsibly enhance its beauty and utility; to create a living laboratory, including a food forest, among other things." As Community Builds usually involve Hands-On Work, we recommend wearing shoes to move in, clothes to get messy in and bringing plenty of water, work gloves, gear for the weather (ex. sunscreen in the summer, layers in the winter, rain jacket, etc.) a hat, sunscreen/bug spray, and a snack. If inclement weather is forecasted on the day of the Build, we will reach out via the email you sign up with to update you *the day before the event is scheduled*.
